What sets this Mt.Vernon riverfront kitchen apart is the successful blending of the cabinetry with the custom brazilian floors and the seamless transition of the cabinetry to the feature ceiling. The high ceilings and large appliances allowed us to go really big with the cabinets however by selecting light colors and inset style doors the kitchen still has a open feel that isn’t too heavy for the space. Our main concern was that the elegance of the kitchen matched the grandeur of the house. The kitchen was designed primarily for entertaining and catering but we also wanted to provide a comfortable, family friendly environment since the kitchen connects to the main living room.
Because this is a new construction we did every cabinet in the house which includes two more kitchens, vanities, butlers pantry and a spacious laundry room. All the vanities and kitchens throughout the house have their own unique feel and style. This project ranges from a traditional custom made his and her master vanities to a basement kitchen with more of a log cabin feel. The laundry room is particularly impressive with two sets of washers and dryers and plenty of space. The vanities are everything in-between including: beach style, traditional, modern and rustic.
